Recently security is too strict about rules that doesn’t exist!! Ones we had a gathering on the rooftop in space that you dont have to book or pay for, and at 9:17 exactly the security came by and kicked us out!! Most of the people there were residents, and they are not very respectful in the way they communicate with us.. sooooo disappointing!

The entire move-in experience exceeded my expectations. It was clear that the management team had thought through every detail to make sure the transition was as easy as possible. I felt welcomed, well-supported, and stress-free throughout the entire process. If all apartment moves could be this easy, I’d do it every year!

Overall my biggest complaint is the restrictions on the rooftop hosting. I can understand the need for tight rules on the weekends during the summer months. Yet me not being able to host three guests on a Tuesday in February is silly.

The management of the gym probably gets a lot of attention, but I think a community meeting about the gym in an open forum would benefit everybody. There are a lot of questions about why certain equipment is in there, who should be able to exercise in Illume's gym, and the sauna. We should discuss those as a group.

My experience has been great - I do love my apartment and building. The maintenance team is on top of everything and they’re extremely responsive. I’ve also had good interactions with the concierge team. I do wish the leasing office would be more transparent and responsive to residents requests. Two main complaints: when I toured the building in December 2023, I was told the sauna would be fixed “in the spring”. It’s been a year and it’s still out of order, with no explanation (other than vague “we’re working on it”) or timeline. Second, the rooftop rules are ridiculously restrictive at this point — I couldn’t even bring my parents and sister to the rooftop (just to sit at one of the many empty tables!!) because I didn’t “have enough wristbands” for all four of us. There is no way to obtain guest passes either, so the whole things is infuriating. That being said, my experience at Illume has been positive.

I feel like the recent policy changes have had an abundant impact on the quality and enjoyment of this residency. In recent months we have received several "Policy updates" that were either not explicitly in our lease or were never an issue in the nearly 2 years of residency including the following: 1) Stella Lounge is no longer allowed to be utilized outside management and lease holders. 2) Amenity spaces are now policed for reservations regardless of how many or how little attendees/guests are involved (I was harassed for playing a card game with 4 people on a roof top space). 3) Wrist bands originally designed just for the pool are now required for anyone living in the building or who enters the building (or so it would seem based on how many times I am asked by security).
